In this blog, you will seek “How I scored 85% in my Tableau Certification”. And sample questions, important links, material, guidelines, and other information. My aim is to share the right direction, and create a focus for you to pass the Tableau certification.

To pass the Tableau certification Exam, you must understand the Exam format:

Time Limit: 60 minutes

Question Format: Multiple choice, multiple responses

Number of Questions: 45 (40 scored, 5 unscored)

Passing Score: The passing scaled score for this exam is 750. 

Language(s) Offered: English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. 

The Tableau Certification exam is only available in the following languages, and therefore you can not take the exam if you do not know English, Japanese, or Chinese.

During the exam, there are dummy questions that even if you score correctly will not increase your score. They are identical to the real questions hence, make it impossible to distinguish between real and dummy questions.

As of 2022, all the Tableau Desktop Exam Questions are Multiple Choice Questions.
Tableau Desktop Exam, are online and requires a high-speed internet connection. They recommend using LAN however, the wifi connection is equally good. One must make sure the strength of Wifi connection is full strength. Otherwise, during the exam, the internet connection might break and make you lose your focus!

Don’t worry, and stay focused on the test. Because the invigilator from Pearson Vue will pause the test time, and send you a rejoin URL attached in the Email to your Email address in the case of an internet problem.
